As is customary in Barcelona, this edition took place at the Vèrtex building of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and brought together over a hundred professionals from the sector to share knowledge and experiences on the evolution of networks.
The ESNOG34 agenda included technical presentations and discussions on topics such as network security, new internet protocols, digital infrastructure management, and practical cases from operators. Among the standout contributions, Maria Isabel Gandia, Head of Communications at CSUC, presented the main updates from the Catalonia Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX), managed by CSUC. The same session also featured representatives from other IXPs, such as ESPANIX, the Spanish internet exchange point.
All ESNOG34 presentations are openly available on the event’s website, where recordings of the various sessions can also be accessed via the ESNOG YouTube channel.
These open and free events are a key opportunity to foster collaboration among sector stakeholders and contribute to the development of a more robust, efficient, and secure network.
