The Catalunya Neutral Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX) offers a free speed test to check the quality of internet connection in an easy way for the users. The tool shows up the upload and download speeds in megabits per second (Mbps) and the latency in milliseconds (ms). Speed connection, though, will depend on factors external to the own connection (such as firewall, spyware, antivirus…), and other components that make up the network.
