On January 3rd, the connection of the services router to CATNIX has been upgraded at the Campus Nord switch, in order to absorb the increasing demand for the traffic at the exchange.

The L-root Name Server replica at the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX) has been updated. The new server hosting this replica, based on Dell architecture, is an appliance, developed and installed by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), the organization that manages it.
