CATNIX gains new entities
Two new entities have connected at the end of May to the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX). They are M247, a cloud and connectivity services company located in Romania, and Imperva, a leading global cybersecurity technology company.

The Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) attended the 40th edition of the Euro-IX Forum, an event held by the association of European IXPs from May 12th to 14th in Heraklion (Greece).
The Anella Científica upgrades its connection to CATNIX up to 200 Gbps
The Anella Científica, the academic and research network of Catalonia, has upgraded its connection speed to the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) at each of its backbone nodes. From a 100 Gbps connection, it has now upgraded to 200 Gbps, offering greater data transmission capacity, more redundancy, and facilitating information exchange, among other services.
AFR-IX upgrades its connection speed to CATNIX
On May 9, the African telecommunications operator AFR-IX upgraded its connection speed to the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) from 5 Gbps to 20 Gbps.
