The telecom company Near IP has upgraded this August its connection speed to the CATNIX from 10 Gbps to 20 Gbps. The connection to CATNIX is made through the bitNAP Point of Presence (PoP), one of three locations that the Catalan IXP has.
The security provider Netskope has connected at the beginning of July to the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) at 10 Gbps. The connection has been made at Equinix, one of the three locations (PoP) that CATNIX has in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
