32nd edition of ESNOG held in Barcelona

The Spanish Network Operators Group (ESNOG) held the 32nd edition of the ESNOG forum on October 24-25. The event took place in the Auditorium of the Vèrtex Building at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and gathered around 90 attendees. CATNIX, the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange Point managed by CSUC, was one of the primary organizers and sponsors.

The purpose of the ESNOG forum, once again, was to bring together telecommunications operators, academic networks, and internet providers to share experiences, exchange technical knowledge, foster collaboration, and discuss topics relevant to this field.

Maria Isabel Gandia, Head of Communications at CSUC, participated in ESNOG with a presentation on the latest CATNIX updates , which is celebrating 25 years of operation in 2024. Gandia also presented on “How to Make the Most of Peering Ports at Neutral Nodes,” alongside Amedeo Beck-Pecoz (ESpanix).

All presentations can be found on the ESNOG32 website, and videos of the live broadcast are available on its YouTube channel.
