Claranet was created in 1996 and its aims is to provide connection services, hosting, security and storage to its more than 6,500 clients. It currently has presence in 9 countries (Spain, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Benelux, Portugal, Italy, USA and Brazil) and runs 43 datacenters connected through an MPLS network of more than 10,000 km of optical fiber.
