{"id":1862,"date":"2018-11-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catnix.net\/conference-on-quad9-and-dns-privacy\/"},"modified":"2018-11-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-11-15T00:00:00","slug":"conference-on-quad9-and-dns-privacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catnix.net\/en\/conference-on-quad9-and-dns-privacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference on Quad9 and DNS privacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The conference, that took place before the CATNIX Technical Commission,  presented the Quad9 project as an example of public and free DNS service  that does not use data from users in a commercial way.<\/p>\n<p>The Quad9 project, created a year ago, has increased its presence worldwide, having 140 nodes in 59 different countries.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href='https:\/\/www.quad9.net\/' target='_blank' rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quad9<\/a> supports DNS-over-TLS, DNSCrypt and DNS-over-HTTP, DNS queries  do not travel, increasing therefore end users privacy.
