During her talk, she also highlighted the increase in capacity between Campus Nord and Equinix, two of CATNIX&#8217;s points of presence, an essential action to strengthen connectivity and respond to sustained growth in demand. In addition, Gandia referred to the evolution of traffic exchanged at the IXP, as well as to other issues of interest to the operator community.<\/p>\n<p>ESNOG 35 featured an agenda of technical presentations and specialised debates, with special focus on the energy and operational efficiency of optical networks, real-world industry experiences, AI Backend, and bandwidth automation with SR-TE, among other current topics. In the same session devoted to Internet IXPs, representatives of other IXPs also took part, including ESPANIX, the Spanish IXP.<\/p>\n<p>All ESNOG 35 presentations are available on the event&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/esnog.net\/gore35\/agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>, which also provides access to the YouTube recordings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">The Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) took part in the 35th edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/esnog.net\/gore35\/agenda\">ESNOG<\/a>, the forum for Spanish network operators, which was held on 16 and 17 April in Madrid, hosted by Universidad Carlos III.
