CATNIX infrastructure consists of two Cisco Catalyst 4507R-E switches, where participant entities connect their pieces of equipment. Through these two switches, CATNIX members can do private peerings in addition to the common traffic exchange. Thanks to this new upgrade on the capacity connection between the two switches, institutions connected to CATNIX can increase their traffic.
