guifi.net has its main goal, between others, to encourage the net development and the evolution of open infrastructures in information and communication, universally vocational and non-discriminatory. Moreover, it promotes the universal right to communication and information, the right to open technological standards, and advanced research in open nets and infrastructures. Finally, guifi.net generates collaborative platforms in which civil society, as well as the public and private sectors, participate together.
