CATNIX presents its latest updates in a new edition of ESNOG

Maria Isabel Gandia, head of Communications at CSUC, has participated in the 31st edition of the meeting of the Spanish Network Operators Group (ESNOG), which took place on April 24 and 25 at the Higher Technical School of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).

During the meeting, Gandia presented the latest developments of the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX), alongside other IXPs such as the German DE-CIX and the Spanish ESPANIX.

Gandia also intervened at ESNOG with the lecture “Trends in network monitoring tools and maturity model in automation, orchestration, and virtualization“, where she presented the results of the latest survey conducted by the Special Interest Group on Network Operations Centers (SIG-NOC) on the tools these centers use to perform their functions. The presentation provided information on the most valued, important, and popular tools for each of the evaluated functions, as well as trends and insights compared to previous surveys.

The agenda with the rest of the presentations can be found on the website of the 31st edition of ESNOG, and the different sessions held can also be recovered on the entity’s YouTube channel.

The ESNOG forum brings together telecommunications operators, academic networks, and internet providers twice a year to share experiences, exchange technical knowledge, promote collaboration, and discuss topics related to this profession.
