The presentation was delivered by Maria Isabel Gandia, Head of Communications at CSUC, who outlined the latest server upgrades carried out at CATNIX. During her talk, she also highlighted the increase in capacity between Campus Nord and Equinix, two of CATNIX’s points of presence, an essential action to strengthen connectivity and respond to sustained growth in demand. In addition, Gandia referred to the evolution of traffic exchanged at the IXP, as well as to other issues of interest to the operator community.
ESNOG 35 featured an agenda of technical presentations and specialised debates, with special focus on the energy and operational efficiency of optical networks, real-world industry experiences, AI Backend, and bandwidth automation with SR-TE, among other current topics. In the same session devoted to Internet IXPs, representatives of other IXPs also took part, including ESPANIX, the Spanish IXP.
All ESNOG 35 presentations are available on the event’s website, which also provides access to the YouTube recordings.
