Telefónica, Claranet and Adam improve their connections to CATNIX
The telecom and content operator Telefónica has upgraded its connection speed to the CATNIX this July from 3 Gbps to 5 Gbps. Member of CATNIX since 2001, Telefónica connects to this IXP through the Campus Nord Point of Presence (PoP).
CATNIX launches new peering platform

CATNIX launches new speed test
The new speed test from the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX) is already available free of charge to measure the internet speed of all users across the country in an easy way. It provides upload and download speeds in megabits per second (Mbps) and latency in milliseconds (ms), as well as information on the provider and a graph showing the evolution of the test.
