Welcome to the Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange (CATNIX) website. This project was started in 1999. The aim was to become the Internet exchange point for data traffic in Catalonia in order to increase the quality of Internet services in this region and to speed up the flow of information.

After several years of consolidation, CATNIX is now undergoing new strategic development, such as increasing its range of value-added services, which will definitively put it on the map of similar European infrastructures. This development should also strengthen CATNIX's position as an active platform that continues to provide citizens and companies with the best electronic communication services within the framework of the information society.
