    The Anella Científica has upgraded its speed connection at the Catalunya Neutral Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX) from 1 Gbps to 2 Gbps. As a result, by now there are already three entities connected at 2 Gbps at CATNIX, the Anella Científica and the Jazztel and Orange operators.

    F-root Name Server replica updated

    F-root name server replica, run by the North American Internet Systems Consortium (ISC), has been updated at Catalonia Neutral Internet Exchange Point (CATNIX). Through such updating, the previous pieces of equipment, two Cisco 7304 and two Cisco Catalyst 2950, have been replaced by the two current Cisco 2951.

    Eleventh ESNOG/GORE meeting at CESCA

The tool shows up the upload and download speeds in megabits per second (Mbps) and the latency in milliseconds (ms). Speed connection, though, will depend on factors external to the own connection (such as firewall, spyware, antivirus...), and other components that make up the network.
